Alerts that keep you in control
Lumora Financial offers a full suite of account, security, and market alerts so you never miss what matters. After you open an account and sign in to online banking or our mobile app, you can customize how and when we notify you—by email, SMS, push notification, or in-app message, depending on your preferences and region.
Alerts help you monitor spending, detect unauthorized activity early, stay on top of loan or card due dates, and track foreign exchange rates when you are planning an international transfer. You can turn categories on or off at any time and adjust thresholds (for example, alert me only for transactions above $500). We never use alerts to ask for your password or full card number—those requests are always fraudulent.

Account & balance alerts
Receive a notification when your balance falls below a level you set, when a deposit posts, when a scheduled payment is about to be sent, or when your statement is ready. These alerts are especially useful for avoiding overdrafts and keeping cash flow visible without logging in daily.
- Low balance warning
- Large deposit or withdrawal
- Scheduled payment reminder
- Statement available
FX & rate alerts
If you regularly send or receive foreign currency, you can set a target rate or a percentage move from today’s level. When the market hits your trigger, we notify you so you can log in and complete a transfer at a time that suits you. Rate alerts are indicative and do not lock a rate until you confirm a transaction.
Pair rate alerts with our exchange rates page for context.
Security alerts
We automatically alert you to new device logins, password changes, failed login attempts, and card transactions that look unusual based on your history. If you receive a security alert you do not recognize, contact us immediately. You can also enable two-factor authentication for stronger account protection.
Card alerts
Get notified for every card purchase, for purchases above an amount you choose, for international card use, or when your card is used online. These settings help you spot fraud quickly and track household or business spending.
How to set up alerts
- Sign in to online banking or open the mobile app.
- Go to Settings or Profile, then Alerts & notifications.
- Choose each category and select delivery channels (email, SMS, push).

Message and data rates may apply for SMS. You can opt out of marketing messages separately from security and account alerts.
